Her passion for physiotherapy began when she volunteered at the outpatient physiotherapy ward at Brampton Civic Hospital, and since then, she has been dedicated to combining her love for helping others with her knowledge of sports and science. As an athlete throughout her life, Balreen has played organized volleyball, basketball, and soccer, and has used her experience to excel in various clinic settings, including the cardiothoracic ICU and outpatient musculoskeletal clinics. In these settings, she has successfully treated patients with a wide range of conditions, including overuse injuries, sports injuries, post-operative surgery, and more.
