Omid (MScPT, BSc Biomed) is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals of all ages recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their health and fitness goals. He holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from York University, providing him with a strong academic foundation and a comprehensive understanding of the human body. With extensive experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, Omid specializes in addressing the unique challenges of sports injuries, low back pain, and knee or shoulder conditions, as well as managing chronic pain. He adopts a holistic approach to treatment, combining manual therapy, exercise and functional rehabilitation to promote healing, enhance performance, and prevent future injuries. Omid is committed to tailoring care for each client, advocating for their long-term health and well-being. His background as a personal trainer and martial arts instructor has further honed his ability to design individualized rehabilitation plans that are both effective and engaging. These experiences have also strengthened his communication skills, enabling him to educate and empower clients to take charge of their rehabilitation journey. Outside of his professional life, Omid enjoys staying active through soccer, volleyball, Taekwondo, and calisthenics. Having personally experienced injuries such as hamstring strains, knee issues, and low back pain, he brings a unique and empathetic perspective to his practice, understanding the physical and emotional challenges of recovery. Fluent in English and Persian, Omid is dedicated to ongoing professional development to provide the highest standard of care. As a registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, he strives to help individuals return to their favorite activities and achieve their optimal health and fitness.

First Visit - Initial Assessment with Treatment

This initial visit will be our opportunity to learn about you in order to make sure the best possible Physiotherapy care plan based on your desired goals and outcomes. It will include sharing your medical history, addressing your physical complaints, and assessing the functional movements which can be contributing to those complaints. Treatment is provided during this visit.
