At the age of 12 years old, Dr. Chesney experienced how a precise, gentle, biomechanics-based NUCCA correction could support the body’s ability to heal after he was bedbound for nearly 2 weeks after a severe back injury in hockey. Such experiences led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life West University. He has practiced in Edmonton for 9 years providing NUCCA chiropractic care before returning back to his hometown of Calgary in 2026 and joining the doctors at Vibe Health & Spine. He is board-certified in the NUCCA procedure, having completed advanced training and certification in the NUCCA protocol. He is an active member of the NUCCA organization and serves on the Board of the Upper Cervical Research Foundation (UCRF), contributing to the editorial committee and advancing research in upper cervical care. Outside the office, Jason enjoys hockey, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, reading, and exploring local and mountain trails.
