Diana completed her Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy at Queen's University in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Kinesiology from York University. Diana discovered her passion for working with children while in school and since graduating has worked in Pediatrics. During this time she pursued additional training focusing primarily on the assessment of children's development and Pediatric treatment strategies. She has spent her career assessing and treating children aged newborn to 18 years for various conditions including Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, Cerebral Palsy and a variety of other movement disorders, acute Neurological Disorders, Genetic Disorders, Toe Walking, Low Muscle Tone and strength imbalances. Diana uses a family centered approach that is play-based and consists of hands-on therapy, parent coaching, individualized home programming and education. She believes that the most important piece to treatment is the knowledge a family has around their child's needs. Her goal is to help families feel empowered in their pursuit of wellness. When not working, Diana enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, reading, exercising and meditating. She has experienced first hand how incorporating exercise and meditation into her life has positively affected her mental, physical and emotional well-being and has instilled these practices into her own children's lives as well.
