Joyce completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy with distinction at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom after earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. She has also completed her Level 1 Orthopedic Certification through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Joyce worked as a registered kinesiologist, supporting a diverse range of clients — from individuals recovering from overuse injuries to athletes pursuing rehabilitation and performance goals. Through her clinical experience abroad, Joyce has treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, joint replacements, post-operative patients, and a broad range of neurological conditions. She is passionate about helping clients return to the activities that matter most to them and regain confidence in their movement. Joyce takes a collaborative, client-centred approach to care, combining manual therapy, education, and individualized exercise prescription to support recovery, improve function, and promote long-term health and wellness. She believes that understanding each client’s unique goals, lifestyle, and challenges is key to delivering meaningful and lasting results. Outside the clinic, Joyce enjoys staying active and embracing new adventures. You’ll often find her lifting weights, running, dancing, boxing, exploring local cafés, or picking up a new hobby!
