North Shore Sports Medicine
Julien recently graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Master of Physical Therapy program. Growing up in North Vancouver, he has been immersed in the local sports community through playing, refereeing, and coaching hockey, as well as being an avid mountain biker, skier, and trail runner. His own experiences with injury gave him first-hand insight into how discouraging it can be to be sidelined, and how important it is to have a supportive physiotherapist during recovery. In practice, Julien takes a collaborative, client-centred approach to physiotherapy, encouraging patients to play an active role in their rehab journey. He focuses on identifying the root cause of each concern and developing treatment plans tailored to individual goals and lifestyles. Drawing on evidence-based practice, Julien blends exercise, manual therapy, and functional movement strategies to support recovery and help people return not only to sport, but also to the everyday activities that bring meaning and joy.
