Fix Healthcare
(Jan 2025) Please note: In order to be better available, flexible and responsive to his patients’ needs, Bryn is shifting his practice towards offering only 30-minute appointments. If you require a longer appointment, please connect with our admin team. Bryn’s passion for working with the human body has taken him on a journey from Olympic athlete and world champion rower, to everyday sport enthusiast and new therapist, to elite level manual therapist, trauma and psychotherapeutically informed body worker, to horse physiotherapist, First Nations and remote travelling community therapist in the beautiful Chilcotin, BC. Immediately after graduating from UBC, Bryn began treating people one on one as he completed his advanced diploma in manipulative therapy and practiced and taught therapeutic yoga. For more than 17 years he has combined myofascial release, manipulative therapy, movement retraining, therapeutic exercise, Trauma/tension Release Exercises (TRE), and functional dry needling to get to the heart of what a person brings into the room and facilitate the healing process. A love of movement and nature and father of three boys has attracted Bryn to more than 20 sports including rowing, running, skiing (all three types), mountain biking, rock climbing, tennis, squash, swimming, and kite boarding. You name it, he has probably tried and possibly competed in it. Bryn’s family adventures have brought him full circle back to Victoria where he spent most of his youth. He is thrilled to bring his enthusiasm and experience together to work with Fix’s talented team and some of his long time colleagues and mentors. He comes from his off-grid home in the Tatlayoko Valley in the Chilcotin where he continues to invest some of his time and energy. https://brynthompsonphysio.com/welcome
