Welcome and Thanks for visiting!!! In my search of finding a way to connect and help people, I was guided to Massage Therapy. I was amazed when I discovered that becoming an Licensed Massage Therapist could actually be a career choice. It had all the things I was looking for, an honest way to make a living, a different way to speak to others using my hands, and supported my added fascination to learn more about the inner and outer components of the human body. Plus, free massages twice a week while in school, sign me up! After much studying, hard work and deep thought, I graduated the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in 2008. Taking the clinic program allowed me to attain licenses in both Connecticut and New York State. I have practiced in different spas, clinics and chiropractic offices, continuing to hone my skills. I chose to take continued education courses including different types of healing energy work, Hellerwork’s Myofascial Release Technique, CST level one and recently CST level two in Upledger’s Cranial Sacral Therapy. Recently, I dove into learning different styles of cupping with the Ace Massage Cupping Institute and Rocktape, receiving certifications in Manual Massage Cupping and Rockpod Myofascial Cupping. Thankfully on this journey, I was able to find my ambition in life through determination, wishful thinking and support from family and friends. I am committed to giving you the best quality of massage that is in my power to provide. I ensure that you will be presented with a clean and safe environment, with comfy sheets. I strive to continue furthering my education so that I may contribute better treatment to my clients. I am honored to share my gift with you... Massage
Deep Tissue Massage can be categorized as a deeper form of Swedish Massage, and will include deeper pressure and techniques. These techniques may include a combination of Trigger Point Therapy, work on deeper muscle layers, cross fiber friction and will entail more spot treatment than overall relaxation. ~Recommended for people who need “to have the kinks worked out”, may increase soreness.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and assists in removing toxins, stagnation, and debris. Once a large amount of toxins are eliminated, the body is able to work more efficiently and put it's efforts towards regenerating the cells. People have been known to have increased energy level, decreased inflammation and improved wellness!!!
