Erin loves a good mystery. It was this interest in problem solving that lead her to a career where she was able to both help people and solve the mysteries of their pain and health concerns. After completing her 2200 hour massage therapy program in 2017, Erin successfully completed the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at the Canadian Institute for Chinese Medicine. Dually registered, Erin is able to combine both the western, orthopedic approach of massage therapy and the eastern traditional approach of Chinese medicine to her treatments. By using these holistic viewpoints, Erin is able to help solve the mystery of her clients discomfort and help them restore balance to their body effectively relieving their aches and pains. Erin has experience working in multidisciplinary clinics, working primarily with clients who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents and people suffering from chronic pain and systemic conditions. Massage Therapy
60 Minute Massage Therapy Session. This appointment may include assessment, treatment and therapeutic exercises.
Acupuncture
This treatment includes a 15 minute warm-up massage followed for approximately 45 minutes of fire cupping. Fire cupping is an ancient form of traditional chinese medicine in which a therapist applies glass cups on your skin for a few minutes to which create a suction force. This suction force lifts the skin and often causes the blood and fluid under the skin to create a red or purple colouring. People choose cupping for many purposes, including but not limited to: pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being.
