Originally from Brighton ON, Dr. Lindy Mitchell completed her undergraduate degree at Western University receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Kinesiology. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and her certification in Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Lindy completed her clinical internship at the CMCC clinic in the Bowmanville Health Center before moving back home to begin her career. Dr. Lindy welcomes patients of all ages from infants to elderly. She has a special interest in women’s health and education. In addition, she is certified in the PIPS (Pediatric Intraoral Palate Specific) technique to assist with infant TMJD, tongue-tie rehabilitation and nursing challenges in infants. Dr. Lindy provides a variety of techniques including neurofunctional medical acupuncture, education and exercise rehabilitation, and manual therapies such as spinal manipulation, mobilizations, and soft tissue therapy. Dr. Lindy’s goal is to provide her patients with individualized chiropractic care, and the tools to continue targeted rehabilitation at home. She looks forward to meeting all her new patients and beginning her career at Quinte West Family Chiropractic.

Initial Assessment

Each patient requires an initial assessment to be done by the chiropractor before any treatments may commence. At this first visit, treatment may also be included at the discretion of the chiropractor. Length of initial appointment varies from 45-60 mins.
