Dr. Phil Wessel received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in 2018. Previously in 2015, Dr. Wessel obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Dr. Wessel’s dynamic treatment techniques and education allow him to provide care for a variety of populations: From young athletes to seniors. While completing his Chiropractic degree, Dr. Wessel was awarded the unique opportunity to provide Chiropractic care within an integrated hospital setting at the Buffalo Veterans Affairs Hospital. It was there that he realized that a multidisciplinary collaborative health care model best aligns with his vision as a health care provider. Dr. Wessel utilizes evidence-based guidelines when working with his patients to determine the best treatment techniques to achieve your health goals in the fastest time. Some treatment techniques often utilized include: joint mobilization & manipulation therapy, soft tissue release, patient education and exercise rehab. During his free time Dr. Wessel can be found spending time with family and friends, and staying active through strength training, hiking, playing volleyball and basketball.
