Kelsey Juengling

Hey! My name is Kelsey, and I’m a Registered Massage Therapist in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I’m originally from Central Alberta, where I grew up on a small farm near Whitecourt. Growing up, I witnessed family members navigate chronic pain and mental health challenges, which sparked my interest in holistic approaches to health and wellbeing. Over time, this developed into a passion for understanding the connection between the mind and body and how we can better care for ourselves as a whole. My sister, who is also a Registered Massage Therapist in Whitecourt, inspired me to take the leap into massage therapy. After graduating from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2026, I’m excited to begin building my own practice and creating meaningful, therapeutic relationships with my clients. The Healing Hive Massage & Wellness is a particularly meaningful name to me. It was inspired by my grandparents, who have all since passed away. My Granny Gray was a caterer and cookbook writer who was incredibly hardworking and one of the kindest people I have ever known. My Opa was a farmer and beekeeper. After surviving the Second World War and immigrating to Canada, they worked incredibly hard to build a new life and create a family rooted in resilience, perseverance, and love. The Healing Hive is my way of honouring their legacy and carrying forward the values they showed me — hard work, resilience, kindness, community, and hope. The “Hive” represents the idea that we are not meant to navigate life entirely on our own, and that healing can be supported through connection and community despite any adversity we may face. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to mentor with Robert Hinson over the past few years, and I’m excited to begin this next chapter working alongside him at Robert’s Therapeutic Massage. I’m continuing to expand my skills through additional education, including myo-fascial cupping and assisted stretching, with the goal of offering individualized treatments that are tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and comfort. I’m so grateful and excited to begin this career and to create a welcoming space where clients can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and feel supported in their own wellness journey.
