Jayson Gallahue graduated with a Bachelor of Science – specialization in Athletic Therapy at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 2015, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University (Glasgow, Scotland) in 2018. He immediately began private orthopedic practice in Scotland after being registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (the UK’s governing body), later moving to England and continuing work in the same field. Throughout this time, Jayson has treated patients with a wide variety of orthopedic issues from various sources, such as sports and lifestyle injuries, workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accidents. In 2021, he relocated to his native Ottawa and is continuing work in the orthopedic field with Inertia Physio+. Jayson’s treatment philosophy aims to take a straightforward approach, while empowering patients to understand and participate in their recovery. This involves hands-on manual therapy, in conjunction with tailored corrective and rehabilitative exercise prescription where applicable. Jayson is comfortable with a variety of industry-standard techniques and uses clinical judgement to determine what may be relevant in each unique case. He has a keen interest in pursuing continued learning opportunities to better assist patients under his care. In his spare time, Jayson likes to be active and to get outdoors as much as possible with family and friends. He played soccer competitively in Ottawa and later at Concordia University, and is happy to return to playing casually, in combination with cycling, trail/road running, and general resistance training.
