Dr. Colleen Poulakas obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Poulakas completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor and Bachelor of Education at Kings College University of London, England. Dr. Poulakas is an evidence-based practitioner who offers a variety of treatment options including chiropractic manipulation/mobilization, neurofunctional acupuncture, soft tissue and instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, athletic taping and rehabilitative exercise programs. With a background in teaching, Dr. Poulakas is also dedicated to patient education in addition to hands-on therapy. Appointments will typically include time spent discussing lifestyle changes, diet & nutrition, ergonomics and stress management. Each treatment plan will be tailored based on your individual needs. In her spare time, Dr. Poulakas enjoys running, swimming and cycling. You can often find her out walking her two dogs with her husband. Dr. Poulakas believes that movement is medicine and is passionate about helping her patients of all ages and levels move to the best of their ability!

Initial Visit

This is your first appointment with one of our chiropractors and is the initial evaluation of your complaint.. This visit will include a thorough history taking and physical exam and any other relevant areas. Treatment may or may not follow the initial evaluation as there may be need for further investigation (imaging) before treatment can be safely implemented.
