Karen French is a 2018 graduate of the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy, one of the premier massage therapy schools in the country. She is skilled in a variety of techniques including Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish (Relaxation), Complete Lymphedema Management including bandaging, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Therapy, Silicone Cupping, and Prenatal Massage. Karen’s favorite tools are clear communication with her clients and an intuitive approach that allows her to tailor each session to individual needs.
Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage directs fluid to reduce swelling from sluggish or damaged lymphatic systems. Swelling is reduced and fibrosis broken up in Limbs, Torso, Neck and head; usually an on-going process to achieve reduce limb swelling, increase mobility and quality of life, Treatment at this stage it can eliminate the need for Complete Decongestion Sessions. The LS removes cell debris, protein, toxins, and cancer cells 30-60 times faster than the body can on its own. Complete Decongestive Therapy may be needed.
