103-130 Pemberton Ave, North Vancouver, BC, V7P 2R5
Matt earned his Masters in Rehabilitation Science Physiotherapy from McMaster University after graduating Summa Cum Laude with an Honours Bachelors of Science Kinesiology. During his time there, he was also a member of the McMaster Varsity Track Team, Varsity Men’s Rugby Team (2010 Ontario Champions) and the Varsity Football Team (2011 National Champions and 2012 Ontario Champions). Inspired by his athletic history, Matt’s rehab approach is exercise and movement based, while integrating manual therapy techniques to achieve patient’s goals. Along with his current clinical role, Matt also works with the CFL’s BC Lions as a consulting Physiotherapist. He has used this approach successfully with a wide range of patients, including individuals at the international, NCAA, and USPORT levels, along with weekend warriors and recreational athletes. He has a particular interest in speed and agility mechanics, field sports, and strength and conditioning. In his spare time, Matt still plays rugby at the Capilano Rugby Club in North Van, coaches football at Carson Graham Highschool, and likes to hike and play guitar.
