#203 - 5511 West Boulevard, Vancouver, BC, V6M 3W6
Elody completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and Bachelors in Kinesiology with a minor in psychology back in her home province at the University of Saskatchewan. She has completed her Level 1 National Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program and Clinical Pilates certification through Calibrate. In past years, she has been a student trainer for varsity volleyball, as well as 6 years’ experience teaching swimming. Elody has always been drawn to health, physiology and movement, and physiotherapy is the perfect blend. Childhood sports have been a big part of her life, and with that some injuries along the way, which introduced her to physiotherapy. When picking a career, she wanted to be able to understand people’s stories and find a way to make a sustainable, long term oriented difference to peoples’ health and wellbeing. Elody loves seeing the empowering effect physiotherapy has and how it gets people out there, doing what brings them joy. She was drawn to Treloar because of its team environment, which supports mentorship and continued education. As a clinician, Elody feels supported and challenged to continuously refine her skills and knowledge base. The team at Treloar truly feels like a team which makes going to work super enjoyable! Elody is passionate about getting outdoors and enjoying the active lifestyle that Vancouver and BC have to offer. Lifting weights, hiking, running, xc skiing, volleyball and yoga are the staples in her routine and when she has more time, backcountry hiking and canoeing call her name! Outside of active pursuits Elody enjoys painting and sketching!
