Dr. Kari enjoys treating various orthopedic issues and injuries from head to toe, and she especially loves how unique each person is! She believes no two pains or dysfunctions are the same. Dr. Kari believes that the optimization of function of the human body is influenced by a balance of nutrition, rest, mobility, and strength. She desires to think outside the box for all individuals, athletes, weekend warriors, stay at home moms, equestrians, MMA fighters, to achieve all of their goals. You will find Dr. Kari, her husband, Jason, and dog, Charlie, outside running, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and riding horses. Dr. Kari competed in equestrian activities for a majority of her life with her horse, Cowboy. She knows firsthand the time, dedication, technique, and skill equestrian competition requires. She also experienced difficulty finding a healthcare provider who understands the need of being able to perform at this elite level of competition and utilize every part of the body to deliver the appropriate instructions to the horse. She is available for barn site visits to observe riding function and posture and provide hands-on techniques to improve mobility and strength of the rider.
Riding Assessment; 1 hour treatment that includes pre-ride warm up, 15 minute table assessment and treatment, and return to horse with bands and taping.
