Dr Gurinder Boparai
Preserve Oak Wellness
3050 Preserve Drive, Oakville, ON, L6M 0T9
Dr. Gurinder Boparai believes care should be as personal as the people she treats. Her own experience with chronic neck pain and headaches, and the relief she found through chiropractic care, is what first drew her to the profession. She completed her Bachelor of Health Science at Carleton University, graduating with high distinction, before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Her approach is evidence-based at its core, grounded in reducing pain, restoring movement, and getting clients back to doing what they love. She draws on a combination of spinal adjustment and manipulation, joint mobilization, soft-tissue therapy, myofascial release, instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM), taping, and exercise and movement therapy, tailoring each treatment plan to her clients' individual needs. Therefore, adjustments may be included when clinically indicated, but are never required. Her practice has a special focus on women's wellness, with particular interest in treating TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and neck pain. Outside the clinic, Dr. Gurinder enjoys volunteering in her community, exploring new cities, training for her next race, and spending time outdoors.
