Massage

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on treatment performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) that focuses on releasing tension in the body’s soft tissues and the craniosacral system — which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Using light touch, the therapist helps improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and relieve restrictions in the head, neck, spine, and sacrum. This promotes relaxation, reduces pain, and supports the body’s natural healing processes. It’s beneficial for stress, headaches, TMJ issues, chronic pain, and nervous system regulation. Many clients describe it as deeply calming and restorative.

Book this appointment if it’s your first time trying MLD at our clinic. The goal of the lymphatic system is to protect the body from infection and allow a healthy balance of fluids to move freely throughout the body. MLD is a very gentle, light touch form of massage based on pumping, circular and spiral shaped movements. The skin is stretched and torqued in a specific manner with the correct pressure, direction, and speed. This has been proven to encourage lymph flow and can greatly enhance recovery and facilitate drainage.
