Raised in Abbotsford, Dr. Selah Pankratz completed her undergraduate education in the Fraser Valley before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Portland, Oregon. Her education and clinical training have provided a strong foundation in evidence-informed, patient-centered care for a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Pankratz takes a whole-person approach to treatment, recognizing that lasting results come from addressing the underlying factors contributing to pain and dysfunction rather than simply treating symptoms. Every treatment plan is individualized to each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and stage of recovery. Treatment may include manual therapy, such as joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue techniques, therapeutic modalities, and exercise rehabilitation. Dr. Pankratz believes that effective treatment does not always require spinal manipulation and utilizes a broad range of evidence-informed techniques to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function. She has a particular interest in treating hip and sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction, shoulder conditions, and headaches, while also helping patients recover from injury, manage persistent pain, improve athletic performance, and move more comfortably in their daily lives. Her goal is to provide personalized care that empowers patients with the knowledge and tools to achieve lasting improvements in their health and quality of life.
