**"Giving patients hope and relieving their pain brightens my day and gives me purpose! It brings me joy!"** Dr. Sider grew up in a family that visited a chiropractor on a regular basis. He had his first treatment at the age of 4 when he fell down the stairs and began to develop nose bleeds that his medical doctor was not able to help him with. Fortunately, the chiropractic treatments quickly resolved his condition. Dr. Sider moved to Charlottetown with his family when he was 14 years old. He quickly fell in love with the Island and decided to make it his home. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1995. Dr. Sider sees himself as a life-long learner who is driven by his desire to help his patients improve their lives by decreasing their pain, and increasing their ability to move and participate in the activities that bring them happiness. A treatment by Dr. Sider is always focused on reducing pain and inflammation as well as improving the patient's movement and function. Treatments are tailored to the patient's condition, mobility and comfort level. Dr. Sider uses a wide variety of techniques and modalities including soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations/manipulations, low force techniques (Activator and Matrix Repatterning) as well as laser (low level light) therapy. Dr. Sider became a Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner in 2021 and enjoys helping patients, who have sustained an extra amount of trauma to their bones and joints, to obtain a new level of relief that he was unable to achieve with regular chiropractic treatments.
