Dave Gifford graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2002. Since then, he’s always remained active within the massage therapy profession. Over his years of practice, he has honed in his treatment focus on the cases and issues that are most prevalent in our community. Dave’s areas of expertise are: Athletic/Sports Massage Pre and Post Natal Massage Workplace Stress, Headaches, and Ergonomic Issues I.C.B.C. Claimants He has also taken time to gather experience with the geriatric community, multiple sclerosis patients, workplace ergonomic set-ups, and the University of British Columbia athletic teams. Dave’s approach has always been to have the client’s best interest in mind. His years of experience providing treatment have taught him which techniques are appropriate for each client’s needs, resulting in effective health care with less post treatment pain. Techniques Dave may use during treatment include, but are not limited to: Active Release Therapy Myofascial Release Sports Petrissage Trigger Point Therapy Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy Joint Mobilizations Dave was born, raised, and currently resides in the White Rock area. In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling, snowboarding and travelling.
