Dr. Theresa Neiss Theresa M. Neiss, D.C. (Dr. Tree) earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from Cornell University and her Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. She relocated from upstate New York to this area in 2003 and purchased her home in Montpelier, it was the first site of Montpelier Family Chiropractic which she founded in May of 2005. Dr. Tree enjoys spending time with her niece, dogs (Fiona and Scooter) and Merlin the cat. When not in the office she can often be found riding horses or playing frisbee with her dogs. Dr.Tree has been an active Beaverdam Ruritan Club member since 2006, and serving on the Montpelier Center for the Arts and Education Board of Directors. She is a member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce, Market Ashland Partnership, the American Chiropractic Association, and the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association.
During the new patient exam the doctors will review your medical and social history, assess posture, range of motion, orthopedic tests are done to deduct a diagnosis. The doctor will then review their findings with you, and explain chiropractic adjustments and how they may be a good course of treatment for your condition/issue.
