Aleisha is a graduate of Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary. She has always had a passion for understanding the complexities of the human body and appreciates the role that holistic health and wellness plays in an individuals healing journey. The interconnected systems of the body is something that she finds very fascinating, and the ability to positively impact each system of the body through massage therapy makes for a very rewarding career. Her expertise lies in treating postural dysfunctions, trigger point release, TMJ, deep tissue and therapeutic techniques; however, she has a love for all aspects of massage therapy.
Book this if it is your first TMJ massage at this studio. A temporomandibular joint (TMJ) massage is a specific treatment that is suitable for clients who suffer from jaw pain, teeth grinding (bruxism), locking of the jaw and clients who have difficulty with pain and chewing. Conditions of the TMJ also have a correlation to headaches and migraines because of the muscles involved. The therapist will focus on treating the muscles in the face, neck and the scalp.
