Matthew is a Certified Athletic Therapist, CAT(C), and a graduate of the Athletic and Exercise Therapy program at Camosun College. During his studies, he ensured on-field safety of sports teams at both the high-school and university levels, developing rehab plans so athletes could continue competing safely. Along with working with athletes, Matthew enjoys helping people overcome injuries that keep them from daily activities, whether it’s returning to work, picking up groceries, or resuming the active lifestyle you enjoy. From initial assessment through personalized treatment and home-rehab planning, he can help with chronic low back pain and tendinitis to post-ACL surgery care, acute strains and sprains, and repetitive stress injuries. Raised in Vancouver, Matthew has called Victoria home for the past four years. A former world cup climber, he continues to enjoy the outdoors through hiking, climbing, and beach volleyball. His treatment philosophy is to provide hands-on treatment, personalized exercise programs, and the tools you need to maintain your progress well beyond each session.
