I am a Louisville native and I have lived here all my life. I graduated from the University of Louisville and made a career in Social Work. I became interested in bodywork after a loved one was diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis. I completed my massage training at Advanced Massage Therapeutics, then went on to become trained in Myofascial work, Craniosacral therapy, manual Lymphatic Drainage, Viseral Manipulation, and Cupping. I have traveled all over the United States to get trained and certified in techniques that will help my clients live healthier lives. In my personal time, I like to work in my garden and play with all my pets! I also enjoy Pilates, Tai Chi and hiking.
Massage
Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. MLD can be used to reduce swelling in the body caused from surgery, pregnancy, injuries, plastic surgery techniques and venous insufficiency.
