Dr. Amanda Mithrush’s passion for sports and her fascination with understanding how the body works has fueled her desire to pursue a career in health care. As a cum laude graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and a CIS Academic All - Canadian varsity soccer athlete from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University where she graduated with an Honours BA in Kinesiology & Physical Education she was able to combine science and physical health to foster her aspiration for rehab, exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. In practice, she combines manual therapy, soft tissue therapy/instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription and clinical acupuncture to guide her patients on a path of optimal functioning and well-being. Moreover, she prides herself in being thorough and spending her time with patients to determine the underlying cause of their pain, using evidence-based practice and a tailored treatment plan to help each reach their individual goals. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys playing soccer, playing lawn games and spending time with her samoyed Avy.
The Initial Chiropractic Treatment is your first visit to the clinic for a chiropractic assessment. This will include a detailed history of your condition, a focused examination and a treatment plan for you. This is a 30 minute appointment. I look forward to meeting you!
