Hello, My name is Dr. Melanie, owner and chiropractor here at the Ottawa Chiropractic Studio. Thank you for your interest in our services. As a bilingual (English and French) chiropractor based in Ottawa, I offering safe and effective care using evidence-based technique in manual medicine. I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and have extensive experience treating patients of all ages, utilizing techniques such as diversified chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations and spinal rehabilitation techniques. I am trained in myofascial release techniques, which is a specific muscle release therapy that is extremely effective in treating a wide range of muscular injuries and conditions from shoulder injuries to tension headaches. As a Registered Chiropractor with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, I offer: Spinal adjustments, joint mobilization, and manipulation Myofascial release and Graston Technique (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy) Kinesio Taping (Basic, Advanced, and Sports Specific) Activator Methods Mulligan Concepts (Specialized manual therapy for lower limbs) MedX Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy Rehabilitative exercise prescriptions I also have a special interest in helping children. I have specific training in working with children who have scoliosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADD/ADHD. I’m passionate about helping parents discover how chiropractic care, proper nutrition, and targeted exercises can help their children thrive. After many years of treating patients, I’m so proud to have created my own little slice of chiropractic heaven—the Ottawa Chiropractic Studio in the beautiful and trendy neighborhood of New Edinburgh, Beechwood Village.
