With over 26 years of clinical experience, Lori provides evidence based and innovative physiotherapy services. She has worked with people of all ages with various musculoskeletal / orthopaedic injuries. Lori graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) degree from the University of Calgary in 1991. She was also a member of the varsity women’s soccer team and received the Gauntlet Sports Extra Effort Award and was named one of the Top Ten Academic Athletes at that time. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Physiotherapy (BHScPT) from McMaster University in 1996. Upon completion of her degree, she went on to take numerous post graduate courses. In 2000, she completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy exam (Part A) and obtained her Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) certification. She had the pleasure of taking the course by the founder himself, Dr. Chan Gunn. She achieved the highest level of Manual Therapy certification, becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2002. In 2016, Lori completed the Diagnostic Imaging course for physiotherapists from the University of Alberta. Lori uses a combination of manual therapy, IMS, exercise prescription and education to help her clients achieve their goals and to live their best life possible. She enjoys the challenge that each new case presents and offers specialized physiotherapy solutions to meet her clients’ individual and unique needs. In her free time, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, participating as a coach in their athletic pursuits and has been known to call the off leash park her happy place.
