Dr. Ana Lopezs journey into naturopathic medicine began after receiving treatment for her allergies. She was so impressed with naturopathic philosophy that she decided to become a naturopathic doctor herself. Currently she maintains a family practice and has had experience treating a variety of conditions including hormone imbalances, pregnancy related complaints, digestive issues, anxiety and depression and autoimmune conditions. Dr. Lopez holds a BSc. in cell biology and genetics from UBC and is a graduate of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (2007). She has pharmaceutical prescription authority in British Columbia. Dr. Lopez also provides a number of laboratory tests including salivary hormone testing, food allergy testing, hair mineral analysis and conventional blood work. Dr. Lopezs featured therapies include: Acupuncture Bio-identical hormone replacement Bowen therapy Cold Laser therapy Intravenous Vitamin therapy and injections She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC and the BC Naturopathic Association. Dr. Lopez regularly attends continuing education courses, conferences and symposia to increase her understanding of healing modalities. When she is not working to help her patients, Dr. Lopez enjoys spending time with her young family, trying out new foods and checking out the citys beautiful spots.
