Kimberly Yong-Yow, Registered Acupuncturist, graduated from two extensive diploma programs at the Shiatsu School of Canada in the fields of Acupuncture and Shiatsu. Her education has given her a unique understanding of the human body through the lens of Western and Eastern Medicine. Kimberly’s understanding of the body is expanded with her training in Japanese Acupuncture, as well as through her roles teaching a general interest Shiatsu course and supervising Shiatsu Student Clinic. In addition to treating everyday stress, tension and pain, Kimberly has a special interest in helping resolve digestive complaints and anxiety. Kimberly has been practicing for over 10 years and is registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist of Ontario. Acupuncture is covered by most extended health care insurance plans. the scope of practice of Acupuncture includes any combination of tu-ina (Chinese massage), needles, cupping, Moxa and gua sha.
