Mara Mullen Silies is licensed by the State of West Virginia, Board certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, (NCBTMB), and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and a Certified Medical Massage Therapist. Mara is also an artist, musician and writer and finds that Massage Therapy is as creative an expression as any of these. Each client is "tabula rasa"--an empty canvas, a clean slate. Each comes with a different issue or no issues at all. Each comes each time with that day's aches and pains or perhaps experiencing an advancement in their healing path from their previous session. No two sessions are ever the same--similar, perhaps, but never the same. There are a myriad approaches and modalities for easing and relieving the muscular restrictions that encroach upon our pursuit of happiness. Massage Today, LLC, is just an extension of Mara's other muses and she looks forward to working with you !
