ubeka is a Physiotherapist who has practised in both private and public healthcare settings across Canada since 2020. Her experience includes assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She has a particular interest in manual therapy and combines hands-on treatment with dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and education. Rubeka believes physiotherapy should not only address a patient’s current symptoms but also give them a clearer understanding of their condition and practical strategies they can use outside of the clinic. A key part of Rubeka’s practice is building a strong therapeutic relationship with her patients. She takes time to understand how an injury or condition is affecting their everyday life and uses that information to establish realistic rehabilitation goals. Her focus is on helping patients progress from pain or limitation toward greater movement, confidence, and independence. She remains committed to continuing education and incorporating current evidence and physiotherapy best practices into her clinical care. Outside of work, Rubeka enjoys spending time with her two young children, family, and friends. She also enjoys hiking, camping, badminton, volleyball, and meditation.
