Brittany is a licensed acupuncturist with extensive training and experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She earned her Master of Science in TCM from Texas Health and Science University in 2013 and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Pacific College of Health & Science in San Diego. Brittany is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has received additional training studying the works of notable Chinese Medicine practitioners, including Kiiko Matsumoto, Bob Doane, and Dr. Tan. She has also received training in cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling. With a passion for treating chronic and complex illnesses in Functional Genomics, Brittany integrates acupuncture and Chinese botanicals with an Integrative Medicine approach to provide personalized treatment plans for her patients. She also offers nutritional counseling and health programs to help her patients achieve their health goals. Brittany is currently studying at the Nutrigenetic Research Institute to further her knowledge of the relationship between genetics and nutrition. Brittany has practiced in various clinical settings in California. She spends her winters at a private practice in La Ventana, Baja California Sur and practices in Hood River, OR during the summer months. In her free time, she enjoys wing foiling, surfing, backcountry skiing, and alpine climbing.
The 90-minute session includes a comprehensive assessment for new patients or extended treatment time for multiple conditions or complex cases. We use an evidence-informed approach combining motor point needling, electroacupuncture, postural assessment, and movement screening to reduce pain, restore neuromuscular function, and improve range of motion. Effective for musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and performance optimization.
