Dr. Richelle Martins is co-owner & one of the chiropractors at Windrose Health Centre. She was born & raised in Hamilton, where she also attended McMaster University studying and graduating with a Bachelors of Science with Honours in Kinesiology. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she met her now husband & the other half of the Windrose team - Dr. Nicholas Slowinski. Prior to starting university, Dr. Richelle was a competitive dancer. She has had both personal and clinical experience with the typical injuries dancers may have and is very interested in the care of all dancers. More recently, she has been interested in how proper strength training & rehab exercises can make a dancer more resilient to injury. Dr. Richelle also has a special interest in treating pregnant and post-partum women. While these are areas of interest for Dr. Richelle, she is excited to help all those who are in need of therapy.
