Najih obtained a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences with Honours at Toronto Metropolitan University and continued his education with a Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. He has furthered his training with additional certifications in soft tissue release, medical acupuncture, and dry needling. Dry needling is a form of acupuncture that releases tension in tight muscular knots relieving muscular pain. Najih has also completed courses in Mulligan Manual Therapy Concepts. This is an advanced treatment technique to correct “tracking” issues within a joint helping improve joint flexibility while reducing pain. Najih’s experience working closely with high level track and field athletes has given him a thorough understanding of biomechanics and its role in injury and performance. Najih has experience playing competitive soccer, providing him a strong grasp of the demands sport imposes firsthand. Najih’s treatments are individualized and based on the findings of your initial assessment, which will uncover the root of your pain. He is highly proficient in treating musculoskeletal injuries which affect joints, ligaments, and muscles, as well as post-surgical and neurological cases. To assist with tissue healing; manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise will be used to achieve treatment goals. Education is incorporated to help you understand, manage, and prevent future injury.
