Coast Performance Rehabilitation

#111 - 38115 Laurelwood Rd, Squamish, BC, V8B 1A8

A resident of the West Coast since 2002, Paul spent several winters coaching skiing, and summers planting trees throughout the Canadian West. Personal experiences with both traumatic and repetitive injury inspired a return to school to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy through Sheridan College, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist designation. Over the last 15 years, Paul has worked with youth, amateur, varsity and professional athletes including Toronto Metropolitan University Men’s Basketball Program, the Toronto Blue Jays and Quest University Athletics in Squamish as well as providing and coordinating medical support for Provincial, National and International level sport. Since 2017, Paul has served recreational and professional level athletes within the Sea to Sky corridor under his independently owned business, Coast Mountain Athletic Therapy. Paul’s practice is individualized and guided by open communication and client education and empowerment. By gaining a comprehensive understanding of a client’s history, personal health goals, movement and energy system demands, Paul aims to identify areas of injury, weakness or dysfunction and will work with individuals to create proactive strategies that build capacity and resiliency. Paul combines manual therapy treatments, mobility training, reconditioning, exercise rehabilitation and strength and conditioning principles to address injury and dysfunction. Paul lives here in Squamish with his wife and daughter. He continues to coach skiing each winter with Extremely Canadian and serves on the Board of Directors for SportMedBC. He enjoys spare time with family, dabbling in all the Squamish things!
