Education: West Coast College of Massage Therapy Areas of Expertise: Chronic migraine and tension headaches Sports recovery and maintenance Work-related injuries (including overuse) Relaxation techniques (deep tissue, Swedish, foot massage) Experience treating healthcare providers (nurses, care aides, etc.) My name is Luke Sikma. I am a newly registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy. I spent over a year and a half completing practicums across the Lower Mainland at ARH, Canuck Place, GF Strong, seniors’ homes, and with college and university sport programs near my school. My time working with nurses, athletes, elderly clients, neuro patients and others has given me a deep appreciation for helping people from all walks of life get back to the activities they love. As a therapist, I value patient education and care, and I aim to empower patients with autonomy in their recovery. Understanding your body gives you confidence to leave the clinic in control of your progress. I am committed to walking beside you in your healing and in the maintenance of both acute and chronic injuries.
These appointments are for patients who are new to the clinic, for existing patients returning to us after an extended absence (i.e. over 1 year has lapsed since the last treatment), or for those returning patients who have a new injury.
