What is Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy? Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is a specialized branch of physiotherapy involving the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles using education and exercises. It can only be performed by a specially trained physiotherapist who has undergone post-secondary education and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy can help retrain the muscles and nerves of the pelvic floor to improve strength and function.
