Carly earned her Honours Bachelor’s degree of Applied Health Sciences (BAHSc) in Athletic Therapy in 2016 from Sheridan College located in Brampton, Ontario. During her time in school, she acquired over 3,000 hours of field and clinical practice where she gained extensive practical knowledge on injury rehabilitation. She has worked as the main Athletic Therapist for several sports teams at both the University and College level, and has also worked closely with girls rep hockey. During her time working for college sports, she earned a National title with the Sheridan College Varsity Men’s Soccer team. After years of travelling with sports teams, Carly now enjoys being part of a clinical setting where she can help people rehabilitate their injuries through hands on manual techniques and exercise prescription. Carly has worked in a handful of multi-disciplinary clinics treating both acute and chronic injuries. The most rewarding experience for her thus far has been working at a hydrotherapy clinic with majority of her clientele being retired military veterans. Through this clinical experience, she gained invaluable knowledge surrounding chronic injury and the psychological component involved in the rehabilitation process. Carly enjoys working with different age groups and people from all walks of life to help make a difference in their rehab journey, whatever that may be. She also recently just completed her education as a Holistic Nutritionist where she helps people with their gut health to reach their specific health goals. When not working, Carly enjoys checking out local craft breweries with her fiancé, playing hockey, outdoor activities, and planning her next travel getaway!
