I love my career as a massage therapist. The years I have spent working and connecting with my clients has been some of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have worked with a vast array of conditions. I make it my business to know how to help my clients or to help them find someone who can. I would say my favourite clients to work with would be acute injuries because I love puzzles and trying to find the root cause of your pain is always an interesting puzzle. I also love working with chronic pain clients because I believe in meeting my clients where they are at that day and helping to navigate the physical and psychological toll that chronic pain patients endure. My absolute favourite clients would have to be my work with children and teens. I have had the pleasure of treating children from babies all the way to young adults. I usually see them first because of sports injuries but they stay because massage teaches children about safe consensual touch and along the way they learn to confidently advocate for themselves. And through massage I am honoured to introduce them to this process and watch them grow. When I’m not massaging clients I am learning. Some of my favourite things to learn about is anything to do with psychology and human behaviour, as well as biology and neuroscience. When I don’t have my head in a good murder mystery I love travelling and seeing new things. Novelty really gets my dopamine flowing. I look forward to meeting you and helping you in your healing journey.
