Tonya graduated from the 3000 hour program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2003. She had a home-based practice in Squamish until 2025 when she and her husband and their dogs moved to Powell River. Tonya treats using a combination of deep tissue massage, fascial release, and various other techniques. She assesses and treats each patient according to how they present and what their treatment goals are. She has participated in many sports, most notably climbing, mountain biking, and powerlifting, and loves applying her knowledge of how people move and their patterns of restriction to her practice. Tonya is excited join the team at Townsite Allied Health and looks forward to the next chapter of her practice here.
