Carolyn has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 2003. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto in 1998, Carolyn was introduced to TCM. She quickly became inspired by this ancient healing system and it’s profound effects. This led to a move to Victoria, BC where she completed a 4-year Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (in 2003). Since graduating, Carolyn has studied extensively within the fields of gynecology, fertility, obstetrics, pain, and sports medicine. In Victoria she gained experience working within multidisciplinary clinical settings, as well as a fertility and women’s health clinic. She also served as an Acupuncturist to the Navy, and co-founded the Mandala Center for Health and Wellness in 2011. In 2013, the desire to be closer to her family resulted in her returning back to Ontario. Georgetown and the Halton Hills community has embraced Carolyn’s education, areas of interest, and decade of clinical experience while working in BC. She was fortunate to have worked at HealthSpan Wellness for 6 years, prior to opening her own Wellness centre in 2019. Dew Wellness is a clinic dedicated to providing exceptional Chinese Medicine services to the Halton Hills community. Carolyn is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) and Registered Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (R.TCMP) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) since 2013. She has been a faculty member within the TCM program at Humber College since 2022. Carolyn is thankful to have found her “home” in Halton Hills and greatly enjoys living and working in this community.
