Physiomoves Physiotherapy Clinic
1599 128th St, Surrey, BC, V4A 3V1
Ningning graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical physiology. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ningning was immersed in a variety of activities, ranging from volunteering in a rehab care facility, conducting research in a molecular cardiac physiology lab, instructing on a glider pilot’s course through the air cadet program, to exploring trails with the SFU hiking club. In the end, she found that she was most passionate about working with people, and fascinated by human physiology and movement. This led her to pursue a Master of Physical Therapy degree at UBC. Ningning has also obtained her Level 1 Certificate of the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program through the Orthopaedic Division of Canadian Physiotherapy Association. With over 10 years experience working in the service industry, Ningning understands building strong relationships with clients is essential to providing quality care. She will listen to your story, take you through a detailed assessment and work with you to develop a plan that suits your needs whether it is getting back to the activities you love, preparing for a surgery, or preventing future injuries! She believes in using an active therapeutic approach that is person-centered, and hands-on, incorporating exercise, education, manual therapy, and other modes of treatment to help you achieve your goals. Outside the clinic Ningning enjoys going on bike rides with her golden retriever, hiking with friends, attending yoga class or exploring an indoor rock climbing wall —a new endeavour of hers. She also has an ongoing veggie garden project (Ask her what she’s planting!). Ningning is able to help you in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin. You can find Ningning for a 1:1 physiotherapy appointment on Thursdays, Fridays and alternating Saturdays at the Ocean Park clinic. She can’t wait to meet you!
Select physiotherapists offer a longer initial assessment of 45 minutes. Choose this option if this is your first visit to our clinic, you have a new injury, or if your last visit was more than 3 months ago.
