907 Commerce Rd, Annapolis, MD, 21401

Kate received her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health in 2013. She is passionate about Chinese Medicine and finds deep fulfillment in helping patients experience its transformative effects — from relieving pain and discomfort to improving emotional well-being and overall quality of life. Kate brings a thoughtful, compassionate presence to every treatment, prioritizing curiosity and active listening to ensure she addresses each patient’s evolving needs. Whether guiding someone through a long-term healing process or addressing a new symptom or injury, she is dedicated to providing practical tools, calming care, and empowering support. In her clinical practice, Kate frequently incorporates Gua Sha and cupping therapy to ease physical pain, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility. Her understanding of fascia and connective tissue allows her to effectively treat conditions such as tension, stiffness, and chronic joint and muscle pain — with particular expertise in relieving neck and shoulder discomfort. She also enjoys working with issues of the head and face, including headaches, jaw tension, and sinus congestion. Emotional health is a cornerstone of Kate’s work. She often treats anxiety, emotional agitation, and stress-related symptoms by calming the spirit and grounding the body. Patients also seek her care for sleep difficulties, digestive issues, skin conditions, vertigo, hormonal imbalances, and menstrual concerns. Kate has a special interest in supporting patients with allergies and is certified in the Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT), a powerful technique that offers long-lasting relief from environmental and food-related sensitivities. When appropriate, Kate partners with her patients to explore changes in diet and lifestyle that align with their wellness goals. She believes acupuncture often provides the vital support needed to break old habits and embrace new, healthier patterns. Outside the clinic, Kate enjoys practicing yoga, boating on the Magothy River, taking long walks, and exploring new places through travel.
