Julie began her journey as a competitive gymnast and air cadet in high school. An avid weightlifter, she was awarded a military athletic scholarship, which led to her joining the Canadian military and beginning martial arts training. She later left the military and became a professional personal trainer for many years, transitioning from powerlifting to Pilates. After the birth of her daughter in 2007, she began studying acupressure, which soon led her to acupuncture. Having personally recovered from both physical and mental injury, Julie brings deep empathy and an understanding of the uniqueness of each individual’s healing journey. Taoists say there are as many paths as there are people. Julie believes acupuncture is a longstanding system—deep, wide, and constantly evolving. She is honoured to be in a position to help others discover just how much better they can feel.
