Shayla is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Kinesiologist, and Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST) with several years of experience helping clients move and feel their best. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and has built a diverse background in both clinical and fitness settings. Before becoming a Kinesiologist/RMT, Shayla worked as a personal trainer, a weight room supervisor at Simon Fraser University, and a fitness coordinator at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). These roles gave her a strong foundation in exercise prescription, injury prevention, and athletic performance, which she continues to integrate into her treatments. Shayla has worked with a wide range of clients — from office workers managing postural tension, to athletes recovering from sports injuries, to individuals dealing with chronic pain, stress, or mobility restrictions. Her approach combines therapeutic massage, fascial stretch therapy, and movement-based strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Outside of the clinic, Shayla enjoys training at the gym, staying active, and spending time exploring new ways to challenge both body and mind.
