While in Chiropractic college, I got heavily involved in technique and academic clubs. I was the president of the Gonstead technique club and the Neurology academic club for a time. More importantly, though, I exposed myself to the profession of chiropractic going all in . Almost every weekend, I was auditing post-graduate seminars, learning topics from personal injury to pediatrics, and everything between. I became a QME and IDE for California’s worker’s compensation system before graduation. I started practicing in 2002. Back then, I finished my school’s clinical requirements early, so I became a preceptor intern at an office in the North Bay. I moved to Sonoma, and made it my home. In the meantime, I became involved in the California Chiropractic Association, and I was our district president for a year. I also became involved in the Santa Rosa Toastmasters group 182 with leadership roles. My secret to getting into leadership roles is this: Show up on a consistent basis, and you’ll automatically get nominated… I have been practicing in the North Bay and in San Francisco for 20 years. More recently, I have kept an independent practice in San Francisco’s financial district, and I have also been working part time for the excellent Sonoma Valley Community Health Center. I started the adjust.clinic in 2021 with the goal of serving closer to home, and to create from scratch the type of clinic I would like to visit if I were looking for chiropractic care.
