I like to think I began my journey into the vast and endless world of massage when I was five years old! My father was a truck driver and upon returning home from long hauls would throw himself on the floor in order to relieve his back pain. At some point I began walking on his back, which immediately created pain relief and he began directing me where to step. I was beyond happy to be able to help my dad, and fascinated with the power to help in such a simple, and fun, way. Of course I later learned I was practicing Ashatsu, a form of shiatsu that utilizes feet instead of hands. I eventually went to massage school and am still constantly educating myself in areas such as Myofascia meridian and unwinding, breathwork, Thai stretching, Reiki, Cupping, etc. Theres simply no time or reason t become bored in the massage field, and Im so happy to be a part of this ever evolving movement.
